Who’s the most knowledgeable pundit on here?

The Jimmy Hill thread is testimony to the elephant like memories of Sunderland fans. Lord can we hold a grudge.
darren bent is destined to be forever reminded of the way he left.

anywhere he goes in the world and for all time

Riv cannot be included though. His "knowledge" is all about the match day experience and, by his own admition, can't remember details.

The thing is mate, I have all the SAFC books, like The History of Sunderland AFC etc etc etc but, not wanting to bore the shit out of people I post my recollections without checking, which, on the whole, are as accurate as most people's :-D

If this was the High Court, which some obviously believe it is, I'd take a bit more care double-checking every detail but I thought the forum was supposed to be a bit of *fun.
(* There are reference websites for finding definitions of words that you may not be familiar with.)

I once posted about going to Spurs, when we won 3-2, and how Bob Lee got a hat-trick, but the actual result was entirely immaterial to the story ....... I was called a liar, told I had never even been to the game and got a worse press than Pete Sutcliffe

The game was yonks ago, I was pissed, as was the fashion in those days, and it was just a great day with us winning, good enough for me.

Never mind, each to their own.

I may be a pedantic and tedious 'fact freak' whereas other people are just interested in a bit craic ........ please turn your sarcasm detector to minimum ;) Thinking about it, I think Lee got 4 that day .........

My mam still hates Leeds Because of their teams in the 60's and 70's.

She doesn't even like football that much.

77/78 season marra - Bob Lee 2, Rowell could be wrang like - part timer - the home game got beat 2-1 xmas time hell on and John Duncan got 2 for them.

If I'm not the most knowledegable poster then don't know who is

I could rival anyone about tactics and football knowledge of the English game. I'm shit at world football, international football and that. I don't post on here as well as I could but just cause I see this as a bit of crack rather than a job interview for the daily mail...

People who've been going much longer than you say there's never been trouble at Roker Park, there was a thread yesterday on the subject.

You're a liar, you never even went and I don't believe you really are Barry Siddall at all, there I've said it

Micky Horswill ? What an insult !
Btw Horswill mentioned last night that Angeleri is on loan and we won't be keeping him he'll be going back at the end of the season

Not noticed a mention for Rentaghost yet?, very good poster on all things football and cricket.

I'd agree with that, he's the only one that I really notice who has a decent understanding of the game and I'm usually in agreement with what he posts...not always mind, he's not that good.
