Whitby

Magpie cafe but not dog friendly. Monks Haven Cafe is class if you have the dog. There's a class dog treat shop for the pooch aswell forgot the name of it
Always go in Robertsons for some sit down fish & chips. Don't need to queue for 45mins to get in and it's lush

I've agreed to go in a couple of weeks with a mate - are there enough pubs to entertain us for a couple of days?

I get there most years and there were at least 25 last time I looked.

Champion. What's the best ones?

The Star, The Ship and downstairs in The Jolly Sailors can be a bit 'lively'

The Black Horse,Duke of York,Board Inn,Granby are all canny and The Dolphin next to the bridge has improved loads.

Had a day out at Whitby yesterday with the wife kids and pup.

Great day out, kept getting stopped every 5 minutes because we had our labrador pup with us and people wanted to stroke him!

Anyway, cracking day out, plenty to do, great food, canny beach, class Ice Cream and good shops.

First time I have been in years like, any other recommendations for places to eat? We went in The Pier.
Whitby abbey is worth a visit.
