Opened mine a couple of weeks back its a very nice dram wish I'd picked a couple up now when it was on for £50talking of Arran I managed to pick up a bottle of the man with the golden glass at a decent price at the latest SWA.
With delivery and commission still came out cheaper than any retailers ( even if they had stocks)
Downside ( and must have been full of meds after Saturdays accident) i promised a mate that he could have it
Aye...with delivery and commission etc it came to just under £52 which is a decent priceOpened mine a couple of weeks back its a very nice dram wish I'd picked a couple up now when it was on for £50
Oh dear. I have a bottle in my stash which I picked up at Lagg distillery when I was passing through in June.talking of Arran I managed to pick up a bottle of the man with the golden glass at a decent price at the latest SWA.

Is that the really dark one he’s been showing on Facebook yesterday? Looks a real sherry monsterIt appears that there is an Arran sherry cask on its way from Whiskybroker. Let's hope we're not still waiting for it in ten months ................

Enjoyed our first in person get together with Leeds whisky club last night with some very decent drams. Had a 12yo Springbank bottled in the 1960 with 1940s distillate, a very easy drinking 30yo Glen Mhor, a 39yo Glen Grant, 38yo Caol Ila, 16yo Convalmore amongst others.

I tried it last night. Quite good, but it could probably do with resting a while now that it's open. Needed a fair bit of water as it's bottled at close to 60%.Have you tried the AD Rattray Tobermory and if so, what is your opinion? My apologies if you have answered this previously.
I've had their "from the cask" bottles of Balblair 9/10 year old and both were good.I tried it last night. Quite good, but it could probably do with resting a while now that it's open. Needed a fair bit of water as it's bottled at close to 60%.
I also polished off their Balblair 6 recently. It was nice, but you could tell it was young. I was hoping for a wee but more from it, to be honest.
It was £45 after a fiver off. It was nice, don't get me wrong. Could've benefited from at least a couple more years in the cask though, 9 or 10 sounds more like it.I've had their "from the cask" bottles of Balblair 9/10 year old bottles and both were good.
Only £50 ish
You back feeling okay after the smash?Thinking of recommencing the bulk orders to Fine Drams...even with VAT added and any admin fee a bulk order for me and mates still well worth it.
Seeing some of the prices and even availability compared to some UK sites got me tempted again.
You back feeling okay after the smash?
Thanks for this as I have the Tobermory and the Balblair in my queue.I tried it last night. Quite good, but it could probably do with resting a while now that it's open. Needed a fair bit of water as it's bottled at close to 60%.
