Bloody lovely but won't be opened anytime soon.

I'm (foolishly) doing Stoptober as usual and it'my going to be my Christmas treat to myself.

So will crack open on Xmas Day once I can relax after driving, visiting folks and being general dogsbody and bottle washer.

I do have the remains of a bottle of 12yr Redbreast to see me through until then, once Stoptober finishes, as well as a 15yr old Bushmills I've yet to open in the Irish section of the drinks cabinet.

Love a good Irish potstill, if you haven't had it the 12yr old yellow spot is a great sipper

Saw that...I bought another bottle of St Ola from TWB and really enjoyed it ( 15 yr old from memory)

That's the thing with TWB, prices can drop suddenly but then go back up again.
 
For those going to Kendal Fest, the Masterclass with Melanie will be Cage Bottles. Phil Walker was in Campbeltown this week to sort it out,

Also, looks like the next bottle in the Springer sherry series and the 12 CS will be released on the 13th. Interestingly the CS is Batch 1, no idea why.

In the past I would have kept eyes peeled in the slight chance of locating a CS 12...don't even bother now 🤷‍♂️
 
Morrisons recently had a clearance sale of Glen Scotia, Campbeltown Harbour, Single Malt, Scotch Whisky, down from £39, to just £10.20. :eek:

Unsurprisingly, the Whisky sold out, very quickly.

Did anyone see Iain's wife's post on FB, regarding them moving to China? So I guess that's his Glen Scotia days done then, well certainly as Master Distiller... Cracking fella Iain like, wish them both the very best

@shakerman That's the 13th Nov? Might try and get my hands on a CS, haven't bothered at all with the last few releases as pretty much stopped drinking the stuff, must be a couple of year or thereabouts since I was even in the shop
