I'm rather partial to a drop of Tobermory so I'm feeling a touch envious.

I was looking at the tobermory 17 year old sherry cask he had...and he said I have something a bit more special for not a lot more money! couldnt really pass it up

Any fellow Whisky Broker fans tried the Tullibardene 10yo Oloroso cask?

70cl, 10yo Distilled at Tullibardine Distillery

Don’t buy much sherry stuff but looking to get in a cask strength bottle for my son-in-law over Christmas. Decent price like all their stuff and I’ve enjoyed the odd Tullibardene I’ve had.

Which one is that mate? Only 2 Craigellachie on their website are bourbon hogsheads and there isn’t a Craigallechie on their new outurn.

It never made it onto the website. It's an Amontillado cask, authentic release 14 yo 51.3% at £70. I rang the Campbeltown shop to buy the couple of bottles that I obtained. They didn't have many left a couple of weeks ago.

back from Dumfries and galloway..I had an arran 10 for the week and its a very pleasant easy drinking drop

went to TB Watson as they have a good range of things and have come home with this, claxtons are an indie from the dumfries area

single cask..a sherry butt, cant say what it tastes like yet as its going to be opened after christmas dinner!

Claxtons were based in Richmond until not so long ago. The chap who was their brand manager before they moved the operation to Scotland, now works for Field & Fawcett.

This 6yo Annandale is a decent price (£42) considering some of the sherried releases have been retailing at close to £100

The Cadenhead licences expired in Europe as of yesterday, though some stores have extensions to sell their old stock until July.
