I wasn't overly partial to the previous NS bottling which I imbibed. I've had a couple of Duncan Taylor Octaves and enjoyed them both. Different strokes for different folks.

Had other Duncan Taylor Octaves and enjoyed them…mind it’s a neck pour ,or rather second pour.

It was an 11 yo Inchgower refill hogshead bottled in March 2019.

Not had that…fair few of their blended malts which were all great, certainly at the price
Fair few single cask bottles and all at least good, some crackers.
Cracking Benrinnes and an undisclosed Orkney/HP which got miles better as bottle went down spring to mind
A good Authroisk which I’ve never had an official bottling of

Sure I've got a bottle of that stashed away. And IIRC it was recommended on here by @shakerman when it went on sale at MoM...

You are spot on and it was a very reasonable price. I got rather heavy notes of tobacco from it which wasn’t for me.

I think @shakerman mentioned at is being regarded as decent around the time of the releases but I may be confused by this weather!

The 6yo reminds me of the 12yo Cadenhead blend.

There’s another guy in Leeds whisky club got one too. Don’t know if it’s a coincidence but we’ve both bought some whisky from BBR in the past month or two. I don’t recall buying anything from them shortly before previous ballots I entered.Well done, no luck myself

I think it was restricted to one bottle per purchaser.Don't suppose anyone picked up a spare of the recent Craigellachie Octave release from Whisky Broker? Just realised it was bottled on my birthday, missed it on release
