Which year was the best year for music?

Not sure about the best, but most memourable for me was when i started courting. That would be the 70s.

My 1st wife (mlf) introduced me to Led Zep, the living legend that is bob Dylan, Lindisfarne and Jonthan Kelly.

Was her birthday a couple of weeks back, i hope she has had a great life.
Ok then 1997. The lass who gave me my Brown Wings liked Reef and the Divine Comedy so 1997 it is

1970 for example:-

Led Zeppelin III
After The Gold Rush
Moondance
All Things Must Pass
Cosmos Factory
Funhouse
Black Sabbath/Paranoid
Deep Purple In Rock
Lola Vs Powerman
Let It Be
Morrison Hotel
Blood On The Tracks
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Plastic Ono Band
Band of Gypsys
Loaded
The Madcap Laughs

First Glastonbury, famous Doors gig where Morrison is arrested for getting his cock out, Joplin and Hendrix die starting the 27 club (even though others had died at this age previously.

Last ever gigs for Joplin, Hendrix, The Doors. The Beatles officially split.

Blood on the Tracks wasnt 1970. 1975 I think

1966
Revolver
Face to Face

Pet Sounds
Da Capo
