Fancy a indian tonight which is better Chom Chom up pennywell or Spice in Pallion

Must just be me but I didn't think Zeba was all that great...absolutely swimming in grease. It was like the curry was floating in a sea of fat.

I think Spice in Pallion is shut now, and it was shite.

The one on Grindon Broadway was canny last time I had a meal from there.

It's not grease it's clarified butter and it's meant to be like that.
Either spoon it off or hold it in the container.

Correct. The oil or ghee is necessary to bring out the spices. You can always spoon/pour it off, but you'll lose a lot of flavour.
