Which clubs if they had the same last decade as us

How many points is this worth?
Hasn’t been worth any in my lifetime and I’m in my 60s!( unfortunately)
Though it is good to have ..the fans are right behind the side which creates a good feeling in the stadium and the young players seem to enjoy expressing themselves.Going to matches is very enjoyable.

Saudis
West Ham
Arsenal

We are a massive club.
What are you basing that on?

Something that often gets overlooked with attendance debates is that crowds fluctuate in different eras based on a variety of factors, 2 main ones being economic factors and popularity of the game.

Crowds are much higher now than they were 10-15 years ago for the same clubs.

The mid 80's had some extremely low crowds even for the bigger clubs too, but in the late 40's, early 50's they were as big as theyve ever been across the country.

Crowds and who are the best supporters, most loyal is difficult to quantify, partly for the reasons you mention. Sunderland were well supported up until the mid 60s, then afterwards it seemed very inconsistent, with some very poor crowds pre 1973, increasing sharply between 73 and 80, then dipping again throughout the 80s and 90s, until the SOL, when the crowds increased disproportionately again, though all clubs have enjoyed increased crowds since Euro 96, when football became marketed and corporate, some would say sold its soul, certainly its never been the same since.

I always used to think Man City had the most loyal fanbase, generally around 24000 during the dark days of the 80s, never going much below that if they were struggling and much higher if they were doing well. The modern day version of Man City I would say would be Norwich. Does that make them the best supporters? hardly, but would be prouder of that than of a club who get 40000 when they do well, then when struggling, go off in a sulk with the gates halving. Another thing nowadays is the majority of supporters have season tickets, therefore are obliged to go regardless, whereas back in the day I reckon 90% were walk ups on the day.

Not a hope the skunks would have the same . Half the bastards are spineless tosses from Durham who would start supporting Manu
