We are a massive club.
Living in Sheffield area and a veteran of City v Sunderland fixtures I can think back to the days when about three City fans would be on our train back to Sheffield after the game.Crowds have went up massively since city were in the 3rd division so of course they would get big numbers now
Ha'way the lasses!I think people are genuinely enjoying the model. Young, hungry lass playing some lovely football at times.
West Ham have sold out to the tourist haven't they?
Sure when they moved to the new stadium they didn't really increase season tickets and now just sell loads to tourists
Attendance is not meaningless in the FL and Championship. It maybe becomes a bit less important in the PL. So “relatively meaningless” infact that clubs like Liverpool, City, WHU and Spurs are actively attempting to have smaller stadiums. Is the correct answer. Attendance is relatively meaningless financially these days though. Especially when tickets are some of the cheapest in the division.
Your financials would increase by being in the Prem and your attendance levels would too.
Pissing about talking about attendance levels in the Championship is irrelevant in the wider scheme of things.
My bad, just looked it up and it's the opposite, could have sworn they went down the Liverpool route for the extra cash.Ffs sake the shite that gets posted on here is comical at times.

As my reply above states FFS
Attendance income is far from meaningless in the championship. Our tickets are now mid range pricewiise. Apart from that you are correct, dopey mag twonk. Is the correct answer. Only Manure and Saudi in that lot would imo. Remember when the great Liverpool team of the 80’s started their decline - crowds went right down.Would compete for attendances

It's a complete myth that we have cheap tickets.Attendance income is far from meaningless in the championship. Our tickets are now mid range pricewiise. Apart from that you are correct, dopey mag twonk.
We have exceptionally cheap kids tickets and it’s to be commended. The adult tickets just fall into the mid range category with a few more expensive ones scattered inIt's a complete myth that we have cheap tickets.
Matchday tickets are up there with the most expensive. We have exceptionally cheap kids tickets and it’s to be commended. The adult tickets just fall into the mid range category with a few more expensive ones scattered in
Season tickets, especially for kids, are among the cheapest.Matchday tickets are up there with the most expensive.
Average adult prices.Season tickets, especially for kids, are among the cheapest.
Aye but that’s a different thing to season tickets. Which i mistakenly quoted on. Thats my mistake.Matchday tickets are up there with the most expensive.
Young, hungry lass
Crowds for all clubs plummeted. A combination of a huge recession ( especially on Merseyside ) , increased hooliganism and outdated stadiums with high metal fences that alienated fans.Only Manure and Saudi in that lot would imo. Remember when the great Liverpool team of the 80’s started their decline - crowds went right down.
“Massive” fan base , but that’s about it . Unfortunately. We haven’t got a pot to piss in compared to the clubs you mention
