Which band "sold out" the most from their early stuff.

Not what the world is waiting for any longer

I never went to see them, despite loving them as a youth.
But when i saw footage from gigs of a 15 minute version of fools gold I'm glad i never bothered. Dull as owt that man. Who wants to see a 12 minute guitar solo. They became the type of band they wanted to end back in the early days.

I saw David Guetta DJing years ago in the 2nd room at foundation he was class. I'd only heard one of his productions at the time and liked it. He has released some very successful commercial shite since then.
Good example, I saw him in pacha and the whole show was brilliant, he was successful but chased the commercial money later on.

Coldplay. Love their early stuff, now they are SHITE as fuck.

For an album. maybe two, they were quite good. The debut album was a pretty lovely low key indie album (sort of latter day Echo and the Bunnymen). Now, I'm not sure I even recognise them. I'm sure they're all lovely millionaires though and Chris Martin hasn't released a candle that smells like his penis, which is a major plus for him.
