Where's Huggins?

The players we have signed who have previously predominantly played U21 football are all injury prone. Huggins has never been fit for nearly 2 years. Cirkin is ofter injured for long periods and Alese seems to be the same. Max Thompson signed from Burnley has been injured for most of the season.
The cut and thrust of league football is too robust for their bodies.
In addition Michut and the winger from Lille had not played much football, the latter none at all for 12 months. Ekwah has never started a league match at all. We must sign more experienced players or at least ones who have played some adult football ie such as Hume and Ballard.
So much for data driven signings eh. The data mustn't show up that they're incapable of playing more than half a dozen games in a row.

On the other hand, plenty of players made their debuts at a young age and went on to have long careers, Rooney and Owen for example.

Daftys on here had him at right back as part of our supposed best XI a few months ago even though the lad's never played a single second of league football for us at right back.

If he gets himself fit then he needs to go out on loan next year especially with Hume's emergence over the last few months.

some seem to be missing the fact he came in, after a year out, obviously rusty if not injured, and played a blinder when we won away just before the world cup. Birmingham was it?

The club look to be planning long term for him to return and not keep getting niggles that prevent him playing, which sounds sensible.

Give the lad a chance eh?

Correct but they did not play predominantly u21/23 football. That is my point.
Won’t last the 90
Only played 45 minutes.

He has effectively been out for 2 seasons

He's played just over 2 first team games in 2 years, he needs to prove his fitness now. I think the club has given him every chance.
