Didn’t we get him for free? He’s played well when he has played. I’d hardly put this in the same category as Jack Rodwell for example.when is the lad not injured, let's be honest it's been a disaster transfer up to now...

He deserves sympathy, and I feel for the lad, but sometimes the player and the club has to say enough is enough. We are paying him to play not sit on the treatment table.Nice to see lots of encouragement and empathy. He's looked canny when he has played. If he can't regain fitness that's an assessment for the club and him. Idle speculation and unpleasantness isn't required, I hope you don't face the same ill informed comments in your own lives.
The lad has managed a total of 3 league starts and 6 appearances so far. I think if I had turned 6 times in the last 2 years would of been sacked a long time ago.
He’s body is clearly not up to the rigours of being a professional footballer. Has he even managed 2 successive appearances?
That would depend on if you were injured doing your job.The lad has managed a total of 3 league starts and 6 appearances so far. I think if I had turned 6 times in the last 2 years would of been sacked a long time ago.

Watmore managed a lot more games than Huggins, and Huggins has had a lot more than a couple of injuries. I've attached his football career record, even the most optimistic person can see its tragic.Everyone writing him off would do well to remember what happened with Duncan Watmore after we condemned him. He left us, went up an league and was one of Boros best players and played consistently for them for 2 and a bit years until he left in January.
Just because the lads had a couple of injuries doesn’t mean he’ll always be injured forevermore. He obviously had talent. He always played for the shirt when selected too and put a shift in. I don’t see why everyone’s so quick to throw him in the bin here tbh![]()
Crunch time coming. Cannot go on like this ie injured for 2 years
Not sure what you expect to happen? Nobody is going ti pay a fee for him currently and he will want his contract paid up to go.He deserves sympathy, and I feel for the lad, but sometimes the player and the club has to say enough is enough. We are paying him to play not sit on the treatment table.
The club can terminate him tomorrow but they'd have to pay him up.The lad has managed a total of 3 league starts and 6 appearances so far. I think if I had turned 6 times in the last 2 years would of been sacked a long time ago.

Came with the reputation of a sicknote didnt he?So he'd never been injured before he came here?
I’m probably being blind but where do I see the injury list?Watmore managed a lot more games than Huggins, and Huggins has had a lot more than a couple of injuries. I've attached his football career record, even the most optimistic person can see its tragic.
Niall Huggins - Stats 22/23
This he'll be gutted and frustrated more than anyone on here. The pay him off nonsense just doesn't make sense I'd imagine insurance will be paying for him when he's injured anyway so if that's the case it'll end up costing us more money to pay up his contract.Think some people in here are being harsh mind with the “cancel his contract” comments.
22 year old kid who’s going through a horrendous part of his career, probably worried that he may never be able to play professionally again with how often his body is breaking down when he tries to get going again.
We have a duty of care to him for the next two years, even beyond that if we want (did it with Jordan Willis)
Obviously hope it all works out for him, but Christ let’s have a bit more sympathy for the kid.
Yes I see your point but if these injuries continue into the first part of next season it is a different matterI’m probably being blind but where do I see the injury list?
I still think he’s worth sticking with. Every time he’s come back to the first team he’s played well and not looked affected by either the injuries or the step up in competition. He even looked good against Fulham who are currently a top half of the Prem team.
I’m pretty sure he will be on a cheap contract too so I don’t see the point in binning him off personally. I’d hope we stick with him now and later in his career if he gets over this run of injuries he will stick with us.
