Where should any initial investment go?

Transfer window bolted up until January so no immediate spend there, obviously need to get the scouting and negotiating team sorted in readiness for that.

To make sure we’re still in touch by then a world class strength and conditioning coach to get match preparedness sorted and a proper sports psychologist. Give Ross those and if there’s no improvement by Christmas he has no excuses.

Youth structure, development of younger players and use the academy to its maximum, more coaching/fitness staff given we have until January to work with what we have anyway.
After that scouting network and range needs to be looked at to get us further on the way to being a more sustainable club.
I’m sure someone on here will say Ross’s severance package without a hint of irony.
Wouldn't be that much anyway as his contract expires at the end of this season

I still want to keep him but the squad fitness and mentality aren’t where they should be to get out of this league automatically so let’s have a bash at sorting that imo. For the sake of a couple of relatively small wages it has to be worth it

Don't know about short term but we really need to make sure our academy prospects stay in our academy. And to do that we need to move up the league's and make ourselves a viable proposition. So basically spend shitloads to take us into the top 10 of the prem 😄

Oh, and get us the best scouting network money can buy

A new chief executive to run the club, new scouting set up, pay offs for Richard Hill, Tony Coton and Paul Reid.
