Where is the minimum we need to finish under a new manager this season

I don't think its sack worthy if they don't mind
I agree. Just want a manager that’s better than TM. Otherwise he should have stayed.
For the record I feel he was dealt a bad hand. I’ll find out if I’m wrong sometime in mid March if it was him or the recruitment, or lack there of. I’ll say that over the past 3 matches we’ve looked very uninspired.

I thought 6th would be a good season, but anywhere between 7th and 10th would be ok at the start of the season. We are miles away from being able to compete in the prem league so unless it’s shoot for the stars, grab the money and get hammered every week, I suspect it’s championship for a few years yet

I suspect we find out in January, if they buy some half decent players then we know they didn’t want Mowbray much anyway and his efforts last year meant they had to wait to give him the bullet

I want to see the players we now have come good. If better players are brought in in January then all comparisons are out the window.

If players are brought in especially a capable striker and cdm then it’s fair to say they just didn’t want Mowbray regardless of what he said or did

I can’t disagree with that but it seems odd that they’d risk the welfare of the club to prove a point. Been better to have let him go over the summer and brought in the necessary players for the full season.

I’ve no idea what the thinking is, I assume there was a plan already in place…if a new manager isn’t imminent say within a week, it would seem a very silly thing to sack Mowbray and then start searching round

Don't think we were getting much from Leeds and West Brom anyway

It’s a good thread this one. We don’t have a great squad I think we could end up anywhere from around 9th - 16th. If it’s nearer to the bottom of that range does new guy even get a second season? Coming in this early means this season counts there’s no free hit.

Well the hierarchy obviously feel the club has all the assets the head coach needs, so can’t be any excuses really

Worded poorly I meant he needs to go

I don't know if I'm more optimistic now or not
Same as I was a few weeks ago,it’s obvious we are short in some positions, that’s not changed regardless if TM is here or not, but always the hope we win every match day
