the laburnum is closed mate, went tits up about 3 months back.as you say wont be long before the ivy is lost too,,i lived in tower st as a kid watched the ivy being built out of my back window..raich carters pub was at the bottom of my street ..memories..

I don´t this is peculiar to Hendon or Sunderland, from what i have seen pubs and working mens clubs are shutting all over the North East, the Durham villages and towns especially. These places have virtually no immigrants so i don´t think immigration has anything to do with that. The fact that people have no work and therefore no money is more relevant.

no me granny, im 40 and she died years ago, my dad was born in 36 i think,, you work it out:lol:
aw i see they were school mates..i thought you meant your gran was an older lady at the time..they will have probably went to either hendon board school or hendon valley rd (my school)

On some bloke who seems like he is hiding more than never neverland. The thread was about this country and it's inhabitants. If that doesn't include you, then you are entitled an opinion but it wouldn't be worth nowt to us who actually experience it for ourselves. Then again, that would blow your argument away and make your contribution insignificant wouldn't it?
Repetition does not change things.
Believe whatever you want. I will still have my opinion and post it.
It will probably be more beneficial to you to ignore my opinion because i disagree with virtually all you say. That does not make it insignificant to me or pthers who also disagree with you.

Can't be arsed to wade through the 98 pages of predictable shite, but have we ascertained yet why Mitty thinks it's OK for him to work in any country he likes, but not Somalis and Kosovans?

I am inclined to agree with his basic point that Labour had an open door policy on immigration, but if it wasn't for A. the British working class regarding themselves 'above' menial work; B. our education system producing streams of morons with little or no mathematical or scientific understanding; C. British traders being able to charge top dollar for piss-poor workmanship, there wouldn't be such a market for these people.

That is your opinion.
You have neither met me nor know me so therefore you are not entitled to have any opinion about me.
You do not seem to like where you live very much and do come across as bitter about it. I say this because you are always whinging about it. I would move.
Having lived in Haringey for many years i have to say i loved it´s diversity and multiculturalism. If i had been unhappy and whinged about it i would have moved.

And you were that happy that you moved anyway

I am going nowhere.
If you repeat something often enough you will start to think it is true. A bit like your opinions on immigrants.

If you were going nowhere, then you would still be here!

At what point did you not understand that people who you are arguing against on here, lost any respect for your opinion when you refused to answer a question that you lived in the bloody country we are talking about in this thread? Of course you can have an opinion, it doesn't mean anyone is gonna take it serious when you say you get your information from the world wide web :lol::lol:
