The late hippie scene was centred around Ladbrooke Grove in London where the anarchists bands lived like Pink Fairies, Hawkwind, Edgar Broughton, Pretty Things, Syd Barrett and Mick Farren. That's where the Punks got their anarchist ethos and it was from older hippies they got their drugs.
