I've been there and the horizon is indeed wonky. So full marks for that.

I'm appalled at the composition and use of a wide lens though.

I think you are referring to the same amateurish error. Prime telephoto is always better than any zoom shit btw. I want to see the soft downy mammarial hair caught in the reflected light from the beach
