Not so much posted, more like hand delivered.

About 12 years ago I “volunteered” to take a disc containing sensitive data down to Stevenage. It was at the time when certain package delivery companies were leaving/misplacing data packages.

So took a train from Newcastle to Stevenage (three hours), taxi from Stevenage station to the data company (5 mins) dropped off the disc and signed paperwork (10 mins), taxi back to station (5 mins) and then three different trains Stevenage to Durham (Stevenage/Peterborough, Peterborough/York, York/Durham) (about 5 hours)

Still, it got me out of the office for the day!
