It has removed the ability to work with common sense. A couple of years ago on a site I was working on a young engineer was pulled up by Scottish Power's health and safety rep for not wearing his hard hat. It was in the middle of open moorland.

Maybe birds will swoop down and peck your heed. Mate of mine out jogging in South Shields was attacked and pecked by a seagull. Had to get 2 stiches in his baldy bonce

My experience so far is of people who talk a lot and say very little. They get given shit loads of money to spend on projects which have no measurable result.

Recently, the answer to every question seems to be “let’s use YouTube influencers”.
