What's the most wingable career?

GP

"Errr, looks nasty. Get some penicillin from the chemist"

"Err, not sure what it is. I'll arrange an appointment with someone properly qualified at the hospital"
This! Always thought it
"Paracetamol" or "viral infection"

Come back two weeks later, still the same

"Al refer you to a specialist"

Managing a groundwork site. Haven't got a clue. My boss says I want this done. I go to the forman and say "do it like this". He says "we can't because of that". So I say "how can we get it done"?and he tells me :D. We do it and I get a pat on the back.

IT support.

read the issue log, turn up and pull a few wires, say I'll be back in 5, nip up the corridor, google issue on phone, return with whatever google suggests and pray it works. If it does, you're a genius. If it doesn't, it's fucked, stick an out of order sign on it and order new parts.

On the business park where I work I once saw a caretaker guy with a leaf blower when it was blowing a gale outside if that counts

Business Analyst?
I wouldn't disagree I winged it like fuck for the first few years i was one. You just need to be confident and able to talk to people properly. That's why loads of people in IT are jealous of us. We're good looking fuckers with the gift.

Not so easy to wing it though when you end up on multi million dollar projects.

Most other people in IT just google it these days anyway.....

Fireman

Is it on fire? Aye? Just a second while I turn on this massive hose pipe

You’re stuck in a car? Two seconds I’ll get one of the lads to get the jaws of life

Your cats stuck up a tree? Fuck off

Full of misunderstanding over others peoples jobs and/or jealousy. :(

I think it is more a thread about careers where you can get away with it so long as others around you are doing their job. Like someone said above about IT support. There are some excellent people I have worked with who get to the root cause of problems, offer great customer service etc. However there are others who blag a living based on the success of the others around them. Anything complicated gets quickly passed on and they make a noise about being good while only really turning it off and on again.

I think in that case it s more tailored to an individual rather than a job. There'll be poor people everywhere but the vast majority of those noted on here are more to do with people thinking their job is super important and not understanding others that require different skills, human nature I guess.

One on this page for example smacks of jealousy.

UKIP MP

Just promise everything will be really good if you vote for them, and promise to reopen the shipyards and kick out the foreigners and bring back the empire and that
