What's for dinner?

Supposed to be milder than Green isn’t it?
Always an element of lottery in a chilli though, made a curry that seemed a touch under spiced a few weeks ago so added half a green finger chilli just to give a little heat and it went from slightly underwhelming to hotter than the sun. Must have been a mutant chilli.
I thought the red was the hotter ? 🤷
Yeah green chillis can be a bit of a lottery . I buy mine from the asian grocers and usually get birdseye which are quite predictably hot . What i do find random are the dried chillies. I usually fry a couple whole in with the onions just to spice the oil. Our lass likes to eat them so i leave them in hers , one time tasteless one time blows her head off 😂.
Adults having their evening meal before 16.00
Shurrup and eat yer turkey dinasaurs.

Being a boring geek I’ve checked ten Thai food blog/ websites and the consensus is there is no consensus. More say green is hotter but a few say red. One says usually it’s green but there are regional differences. Both delicious.

MiL has gone down the harbour chippy to get me haddock and chips. There’s a bottle of dandelion and burdock in the fridge to wash it down anarl.
