Interesting! Am I correct in saying this information was relayed before the last time we were there though?
Nee idea.Interesting! Am I correct in saying this information was relayed before the last time we were there though?
Definitely worth spreading the word around on here about that...
The Castle.Breakfast in hotel, central London then head out to Harrow on the hill.
Looks like my expensive seats are in tier 1 damn it!!Level 2 way better imo, like proper bars that you can sit down in etc.
Just stay outside of Westminster with your cansInteresting! Am I correct in saying this information was relayed before the last time we were there though?
Plenty of pubs round there including the aforementioned big 'spoons, but you are also just one stop away from Kings X on the tube.My hotel is in Farringdon (not SR3) anyone any advice on pubs there or just go to ground?
This means no Trafalgar Square??

Would be more than 30 minutes that's for sure. Might try the bus route, caveat being that a bus will fill up quicker than a tube!
You've lost me mate. I meant the tube route I was talking about would take more than the 30 minutes your bus suggestion would.Sorry mate, I didn’t factor in walking a bit past the Broadway then catching the bus, may as well just walk and stop off for a few pints on the way![]()
Grim pub that. Full of punters with BO and crystal meth addled hookers.Just arranged to meet a mate and a bunch of his friends at the Argyle Arms on Argyle St.
It's right outside one of the Oxford Circus tube exits.
Be there from 11:00ish probably (maybe earlier). More the merrier I guess!
I live 5 minutes from there and work for TfL. You’d think I’d know a good route to Wembley. Turns out I don’t. Was thinking of a bus and stopping at a pub that I can get served in and then shank’s pony the rest.Anyone stopping round Ealing Broadway?

One of the good thing about London is that you always know which borough you are in from the street signs. Basically if you are east of TCR and north of Covent Garden you are in Camden.
You'll probably be alright if you head straight there after getting to Kings X. I wouldn't imagine it'll start getting rammed until about 1030-11. As I said and a few others have mentioned, there's a fair few cracking boozers if you venture 4 or 5 mins away from Baker Street that'll likely still have the atmosphere but won't be so rammed you're drinking out of a plastic glass or waiting 20 mins to get served.Train arrives just after 9am for me I was planning on breakfast in the spoons around Baker Street, sounds like its going to be rammed and we all want a few pints easily on Saturday morning in town on the other hand we want to soak up the atmosphere
