What's best to do on Saturday? - Drink wise

I'm not sure there'll be any on my train down. I'm getting to Euston for 11:10am.
I'm meeting a mate in London as he'll have my ticket, but I'm not sure where best to go for a few pints/food. Suggestions very welcome!

Might even buy you a pint if I see you!

Ye Olde Swiss Cottage is likely to have a lot of MLFs in. Believe the London supporters branch are meeting up there.
Ye Olde Swiss Cottage used to be the official London branch pub back in the 90s. Landlord at the time was a Sunderland supporter, if I remember. Ended up there after a few London games.

However, I went there after the Charlton game and it was dead.
We’re planning on drinking round Kings Cross/Euston until 1:30ish then getting the tube from Euston Square to Wembley. We’ve done Baker Street the last couple of times but the Globe (where we usually end up) gets rammed, serves in placca glasses and is expensive so we fancy something different. Last time I think we only bothered with a pint and then went and got cans from the Sainbsurys Local round the corner and drank them outside.

Yeah, the Globe is overrated for pre-Wembley drinks. Is always packed and is expensive. Also it's a Greene King pub.

It's usually the Old Red Lion or Southwark Brewery now. Believe the Southwark Brewery is open early but it's a much longer journey to Wembley from there than Marylebone / Swiss Cottage.

I've completely forgotten the name of it but there was a pub just next to a tube station which Wee Phillie did a turn in before the Portsmouth game. Can't even remember which Tube station never mind the pub. Met @Paddy O'Dors there actually. If you remember it?
Dunno if he's planning anything but it could be there again? Ordinarily I'd not go to see him before a game but it was a good laugh. And one pint and I was pissed again.

If you still wanted to be near Marylebone / Baker Street it's worth walking a bit further away. Last time we saw how packed the Globe was and found a great little pub about 10 minutes walk from there, not rammed, excellent selection, seats outside and proper glasses. Well worth it.

That was my thinking like. Just need to persuade me dad drop me off that early.
Do you chaps know if the ALS coaches drop off just at the ground? Not using one myself but my old man is, and he is absolutely useless when it comes to planning owt so I want to help if I can.

The Victoria and Albert sports bar at Marylebone. Wee Phillie isn't doing owt cos it's too short notice.

They said they were only dropping back off at the Sol but I was still pinning some misguided hope that they'd drop me off at the Board inn first.

Sorry, I mean on the way to the match - assume it'll just be straight to the ground but didn't know if they dropped off somewhere nearer central London or owt.

I was reading something from a Chelsea fan, saying no shops are selling alcohol anywhere near Wembley, and saying he could get in pubs after 12 o'clock as they were chocca block.

Think we're meeting in Kilburn, heading the ground for 2ish for last couple there. Been dishing out advice/shit on here all weekend but haven't really considered what I'm doing myself!
That's where I'll be. Was going to start in the spoons and head down to North London Tavern before jumping on tube upto Wembley.
