If you haven’t already give Pivo a go. Amazing Czech place.

That's a new one on me - but I've added it to my Google Maps "want to go list". That's one of the things I love about London - even if you think you know an area well, you can never drink it dry, there's always more places to try out.

That looks horrific :D
It’s really not. Set up by the Czech Beer Alliance and includes a load of beers you can’t get elsewhere. It’s not a match day bouncing atmosphere like. Lovely place for a couple of slurps though.

It’s a bit of a goldmine around there. The Sutton Arms probably being the best proper pub. Make sure you go to the one on Great Sutton street though. There’s one with the same name 5 minutes away.

Get yourself in for a Becherovka party on sat after the match - you'll not see tuesday never mind sunday

Dint know London well at all like but our nearest tube stations are Finchley Rd, Swiss Cottage and West Hampstead so any recommendations for pubs round there would be welcomed

The Railway is close to West Hampstead, but was rammed in 2019. Further down Broadhurst Gardens is a cafe-bar called the Gallery. which had draught Franziskaner when we were last there. Food's not bad there either.

Always thought that if I could afford to live in central London then that Clerkenwell/Farringdon area would be a good choice. You are walking distance or a couple of stops on the Tube from loads of places. What with Crossrail opening soon it's going to be one of the best connected places in London.

The Gallery has Sirencraft's Sound Wave IPA on draft at the moment, so that's me in! 5.6% so not a session ale but a delicious beer....

Ok - Similar arrival time, different trains. Last Wembley trip there were quite a few on trains from North West so you may not be in your own
There will be plenty headed to Euston . We on 8.45 from newly promoted Stockport

Big Wetherspoons right next to Farringdon station which is football friendly. I will be there for brekkie on Saturday morning (and maybe a beer) before moving to Kings Cross.

Some decent pubs for the Fri/Sat night a short walk away in Clerkenwell and around Smithfield market.
Don't get there too early. The manager of The Knights Templar in chancery Lane is open and expecting plenty of Sunderland fans
