What would you do?

My mam once ‘found’ five one thousand pound bundles in the steel tray thingy at a post office. She told the cashier it was there who replied it must be yours. She had to argue the fact it wasn’t for the cashier to take it back.

Most ridiculous argument ever.

Good thread to gauge the honesty of the SMB this. I’d hand it back.
I'd hand it in, but is it theft?

not sure I agree with that, its the own blokes fault aint it?
What is it if it’s not theft?

Weirdly I’d hand it in because of the amount.
If it was £5 I wouldn’t give it a though and pocket it.

What I find odd though is that the police had to be called to investigate. Is there a certain amount you can get the police involved in? Because if I dropped a fiver can I call the police to investigate that?

I'd turn it in. If I found a tenner on the floor of a casino I'd hand it in.

If I found a grand on the ground in the street I'd hand it in, if I found a tenner I'd pocket it.

I found £40 in Monument metro. Place was very busy. But scooped it up and stuffed it in my pocket. Handed it in and was told if it was not claimed in 3 months i could claim it. Got it back 3 months later.
