What time is acceptable for delivery drivers to deliver on a morning?

Bloke from Amazon rang my doorbell at 7:20 this morning. Set the dogs off going mad and now I'm awake. My alarm wasn't set till 9:evil:
Does anyone else think this is too early to be knocking on people's doors?

If it’s Amazon you will have been notified of the delivery time.

Plus you could leave a note on your front door saying “Leave parcel by the olive tree next to the Orangery“

Work hard those lads. Trying to make decent money for the family.

7-20 doesn't seem too bad, as long as its not a regular thing.

That time we'd still be in bed, so a knock would be a bit of a pain.

Really. A joke surely ?

Leaving notes for all to read is asking for trouble, unless your drive is 50 yards long.

Yes it was a joke although I do leave notes on my front door but it is not visible from the road.

Work hard  Working hard to try and knock people down or seeing if they can create a sonic boom driving round housing estates.

I had a washing machine delivered shortly after 7am in the summer. Mind, I did get a delivery time slot the night before so I was prepared but I think I'd only been awake a minute or so when they rang to say they were 5 mins away. I think for items delivered by the regular carriers, e.g. Amazon, DPD, etc, anything before 8am is too early.
