I can remember us 3-0 down Derby in the 90-91 season only to get pulled back to 3-3 threw a Dean Saunders hat-trick

On the pulling back side i can remember plenty of two goals ones' but thats about it.

Probaly missed a few obvious ones out:oops:

same season, we were 3-0 up at tottenham and it ended up 3-3

2-0 on both counts. A 3-2 win at WBA was memorable in 1998-99.

3-2 defeats Derby away in 1986,Barnsley at home in 1987 and Spurs at home 2001 were all very hard to take.

Not personally witnessed but we lost a 3-1 lead at Carlisle in 1971-72(losing 4-3) IIRC and won 4-3 after being 3-1 down at home the same season - not sure who against.

Also, weren't we 3-1 down in the Kieron Brady match v WHU?

My favourite was when we were at Burnley, getting battered, had both full backs sent off and won it in the second half after being behind ............ there was ructions on in the alley afterwards.

p.s. Does anyone know what a ruction is?

A fracas ?

We drew 3-3 at Port Vale after being 3-0 down in the es arly 90s.

And yes we were 4-2 up v WHU so scratch that.

cracking comeback game at roker in 84-5 mate, two down against man u, then clive waggler bagged a hat trick there. all in the first half iirc, including two pens mate

A fracas ?

Thanks mate but I was wondering where the word comes from and if there's a singular version ....... often used by me like :-D

8-0 down at West Ham and won 9-8 ........ f***ing mint!

Was that the game that kept getting rained off.

No, that was the FA Cup match in the winter ....... we set off on 2 different occassions and it was eventually 0-0 ....... ructions on inside the ground like :-D

I'm pretty sure it was Burnley and IIRC we did it again against Burnley a few years later.
