What kind of film genre do you tend to avoid?

I'm open to pretty much anything (film wise!) but would probably have to say I don't do a lot of contemporary comedies. Not a huge fan of American comedic stuff these days and really don't care for the likes of Will Ferrell or Steve Carell.

The other sub-genre I avoid would have to be 'the Toms' aka Hanks and Cruise.

I would normally say sci-fi too - but having recently rewatched both Blade Runner films, I have to admit I do watch some.

I'm not entirely sure that the Toms count as a genre TBH.

I"m not sure there's a genre I'd deliberately avoid but musicals and flashy bangy actiony films have to be of extra high quality to get and keep me interested.
