What kind of bird is this

View media item 9935This little fella/lass flew into my closed french door today, and knocked itself out.
Picked it up and kept it warm for about half an hour until it regained its senses, then it perched on my finger, had a good look around, gave a little tweet, and off it went.
Anyone know exactly what type it is. I thought some kind of Finch or Tit?
Cheers

its a dickie bord.... definitely.

Sat downstairs the other week and heard the little'un banging around inside his room - nothing unusual in our house. It was only after it went quiet that I went upstairs to find him back in bed, but with feathers all over the room. Somehow a pigeon had flown in through his little open window. He said he'd managed to grab it and push it back out again.

A couple of days later, there was a dead pigeon in the neighbour's garden with what looked like a snapped wing. I guessed it was probably the same bird. 😳

That’s the kind of grim story I need to set me up for the day.
