What is your ultimate 90's album?

You're wrong but they're all great albums. I think some of the later stuff is unfairly maligned as well; everyone seems to assume everything they've done since Know Your Enemy and Lifeblood (which were awful) is just as bad but there's some decent stuff amongst it.
Well, I can't be wrong with what I prefer. But I take your point.

Voted for Screamadelica. There are 6 or 7 others that were close. It would have been "Ladies and Gentlemen, We Are Floating In Space" had it been listed.
Great album. Bought the CD and remember it being like a weird pharma wrapper or something.

I was trying to find your original post but just gave up, you cannot think for other people, although this forum seems to suggest at times that you can.
Just use that litte arrow in the quoted post to track back a conversation between two people.

And everyone on this forum knows best. Everyone.

Mines not on that list but if I had to choose it would be Achtung Baby - U2. As an album it was a perfect concept start to finish.

Bandwagonesque - by Teenage Fanclub was probably my album of that decade.

The three that I listen to the most aren't on the list:

Elvis Costello's Brutal Youth.
Buena Vista Social Club with Ry Cooder.
De La Soul's follow up album, De La Soul Is Dead.

From that list, Blood Sugar Sex Magic, by a country mile but Harry Connick Jr - We Are In Love, Pearl Jam - Ten and Temple Of The Dog - Temple Of The Dog should be on there too.

Temple Of The Dog, for me.

Unsurprisingly to many I'm sure, almost none of the albums that defined the 90's for me are in the list.

In no particular order...

Soundgarden - Superunknown
Chris Cornell - Euphoria Morning
Counting Crows - August And Everything After
Matchbox 20 - Yourself Or Someone Like You
Live - Throwing Copper
Live - The Distance To Here
The Wonder Stuff - Construction For The Modern Idiot
Dream Theater - Images And Words
Tool - Ænima
Skid Row - Slave To The Grind
Therapy? - Troublegum
Alice in Chains - Facelift
Alice In Chains - Dirt
Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power
Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine
The Wildhearts - Earth vs The Wildhearts
Corrosion Of Conformity - Wiseblood
Pearl Jam - Ten
Pearl Jam - Vs
Faith No More - Angel Dust
Carter USM - 1992 The Love Album
Steve Vai - Passion And Warfare
Blind Melon - Blind Melon
Metallica - the black album
Skunk Anansie - Paranoid And Sunburnt
Natural Life - Natural Life
Sausage - Riddles Are Abound Tonight
Skin - Skin
Extreme - Pornograffiti
Deftones - Around The Fur
Deftones - Adrenaline
Limp Bizkit - 3 Dollar Bill, Y'all
Limp Bizkit - Significant Other
Sting - Ten Summoner's Tales
Ned's Atomic Dustbin - God Fodder
Brand New Heavies - Shelter
Keziah Jones - Blufunk Is A Fact
Leftfield - Leftism
Rush - Test For Echo
Pink Floyd - The Division Bell
Terrorvision - Formaldehyde
Terrorvision - How To Make Friends And Influence People

Out of the ones listed, probably

Nirvana - Nevermind
Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill
Guns 'n' Roses - Use Your Illusion 1 & 2

That Skid Row album is outstanding.
Saw them when they supported GNR at Wembley in 91 and when they played at Whitley Bay ice rink.
Terrific band.
