What is ? (your ideal life)

Wearing skinny Jeans while sat on the tube holding a latte and a copy of the Metro and scouting the ads for a knife proof vest.

Sizable and self sufficient working farm which is off grid. Workers come in and run the farm while I live in a large modernised barn with enough space for a library room, a music room to play instruments and an art room for me to do drawings and paintings.

There would be woodland around it which I would go walking in a lot and I would also have a small building on the estate which I would generously allow The Samaritans to operate from at no cost.

I would invite local schools to come and visit the farm and I would also dedicate time to creating perfect environment around the place for wildlife to thrive. I may or may not reintroduce a medium sized species that has not lived in the UK for thousands of years, without the authorities knowing.
Would you pay your workers

I'd like to have enough money to be set for life so me and Mr R wouldn't need to work. We would own a big house overlooking the sea, maybe at Seaburn or somewhere close by. We'd be super fit, healthy and slim, and spend our time learning new things (I'd like to be able to dance) and enjoying the things we do currently like activities with the kids, football, trips away, pubs, eating, drinking, reading. We'd go on family breaks, somewhere hot, every school holiday. Life would be good. 😊

Wished - Few billion, houses, cars, women, travelling to every known major sporting events around the world, drink, drugs and private doctor.

Reality - Kids grown up, cottage in a village where i can hear running water, or in a fishing village hear the crashing waves. 2 pubs, regular at both, wear tweed jacket, dear stalker and a pipe, do a bit of charity work and bore people with my tales of working around the far east.

Leave graft today. Have a nice house already which is more than sufficient. Walk the dog. Watch the horse racing. Have a meal out every now and then. Go on holiday when we want to.
Would rather have time than trappings.

I'd like to live in the Beach House from Grace & Frankie except not in America...

Anyone thinking of smallholding / sustainable living / animal rescue etc I live on one and it's hard graft... Most of the wages from my part time job go on vets bills and I have permanent backache from the gardening (but the trade-off is I have my own forest and my house is in the middle of it)

A decent sized house with a massive garden, a man cave with recording studio in it.

Enough money to have the option of not working. A place by the sea for the summer and in the mountains for the winter. Plenty of travel around the world when feeling restless.
This would be ideal, but to take it to the next level be a multi billionaire, buy the club and become the most successful chairman in football history.

I mis-read that . I thought you were actually leaving graft today . Anybody who can afford to really, really should . You'll feel guilty at first but eventually you'll think you should have done it sooner . The trick is, once you've done it you have to stay alive .

Realistically, inner city living, though with a little bit of a garden. Short cycle into work when required, the odd day working from home. All bars, restaurants, music venues, parks and shops within walking distance. No through traffic on my street so bairns can play out in peace and not get killed or suffer breathing problems.

In a dream world I'd have enough cash to walk onto the first Eurostar and keep travelling by train until I got bored. See all of Europe and then head east across to Asia. Become some weird luxury nomad.
