What is ? (your ideal life)

I've always wanted a house surrounded by a big wall and an electric gate, that's as much as i aspire too in life.

Apart from living in the Lake District, spend my days walking the dog and sitting in traditional country pubs, plus having a small place in southern Spain, easy flight over and spend time there so not to suffer from Vitamin D deficiency by a lifetime in the lakes.

I'll likely never get either dreams, not with 3 kids who drain my pockets.

Not a chance. Surfing, canoeing, walks in the sun, f***ing, cooking, wine and sun. No air pollution or catching owt off folk. Still have the internet. Living in a luxury shack. My ideal life.
I think I'd like to maybe run a business part time. Like be a director and investor and just be on Skype for meetings. I think you'd need some kind of challenge or you'd get bored. Maybe that could be learning new skills as well, mind.

Yeah. An angel investor would be amazing. As long as you knew what you were doing of course.

Fishing and hunting. Get a PlayStation 😂

Used to live in the upper east side of nyc, minutes from central park and the museums, money no object. Great job, great mates. Gave that up for love, lived in Grand Cayman for a bit (basically on the back of my old job), came back to the Uk. Work in a great job, shit money. But have kids - who would never have fitted in to my previous lifestyles. Never been happier. I guess priorities change, and consequently ideals.

You need to get out more often then
Mate I can’t be arsed. My idea of a good day out is food out on the afternoon with my lass, few bars round town. Take a takeaway home for about 8 and a couple of bottles of wine and some music. I’m not arsed about pub crawls.

Ludicriously rich with a pub for me friends and family (I'd charge at cost though, not free as we'd all end up alcoholics) but also run / work in it so I don't go crazy.

I still find it absolutely bizarre that people include any type of work in their ideal life plan.
I find it bizarre grown, working age adults fantasise about being nothing but hedonists and don't feel the need for occupation for self worth.

But people are different.

Not having to set an alarm clock would do for me.

How old are you?

Me too. I could find plenty of challenges though aside from work.

Takes all sorts I suppose

I’ve worked for 27 years. I think that’s quite enough to satisfy my need for self worth. I’d now like to satisfy my need to be Ozzy Osbourne.

Probably about 18 by the sounds of it
Must be mad to think the majority of people wouldn’t retire tomorrow given the cash.

I’d actually pick to hate alcohol and drugs if I was given the choice. It can only do harm. I’d like to live for as long as possible without any health complications.

Some people want to be millionaires and have all the trappings..

others are happy to work 9-5 in a factory.

If money wasn't an issue at all.

How would you live your life?
Probably pick and choose when to work. Travel the rest of the time
Property abroad would be nice
