What is the best fish/seafood you can eat?

Not a seafood fan at all, that fishy taste makes me retch every time.
It gets me down a bit because whenever I’m away in somewhere like the south of France and we see the table next to us being brought seafood dishes they look absolutely stunning and I always want to try them, but I know I won’t be able to eat it.
Have a try of tuna steaks. A very meaty flavour.

Or even barbecued mackerel. If it’s fresh and done right it’ll not taste fishy at all

Mackerel is one of , if not the nicest fish in our waters imo and I think I’ve tried most if not all. Just grill or bbq with salt and pepper and jobs a goodun.
You can over complicate fish

Fresh crab sandwich.
The king prawns I had in Portugal
Monkfish scampi (they struggled to give it away when I was a bairn so that’s what me mam used to do with it)
Oysters with red wine vinegar and shallot dressing

Sea bream, grilled with butter.
Smoked trout with poached eggs and Hollandaise.
Crayfish or lobster tails. Think I actually prefer the taste of crayfish.
Moules mariniere
Battered cod - yes it’s right up there.
Portuguese razor clam stew.

Recently had tempura monkfish jowls which was lovely.

Don’t eat it anymore, but my favourite was mackerel. When we used to go out on the boat, everyone would use the mackie as bait but I’d go back with black sacks full of the stuff to gut, head and freeze.

Lemon sole in burnt butter sauce or tuna otoro sashimi. Butterfish is excellent too. Pity you can only eat a small amount per sitting.
We had tuna sashimi as a starter yesterday in a wonderful restaurant in a romantic setting overlooking the Mediterranean . I had eat our lasses like . (sashimi afore y' ask)
