We are entertaining this evening so:

Little nibbles for starters, belly pork cubes, homemade cheesy bite things and summit else I can't remember.

Starter: spicy king prawns.

Mango sorbet with cava.

Main: Slow cooked shin of beef stew with mustard mash and green beans.

Dessert: apple crumble slice thing with ice cream.

Yummy!!!

Got the king prawns from Sunderland fish Quay by the way. First time I've been and it's a cracking little place. Will go again.

Doing well til you said cava
 
Sirloin steak (medium rare), mini roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes, mushrooms, onion rings and peppercorn sauce (for the spuds)
 
Going home now to sort out the bait while our lass and the bairn watch the dancing, duck breast with cranberry and red wine jus (!) with garlic and herb mash and curly cale, splendid, and washed down with lashings of red wine.
