What do your kids do.....

In the house he used to do all kinds of creative stuff when he was younger, now he's 10 he watches YouTube and plays on his Xbox. Now and then he'll read but he has to be in the mood.

He's supposed to be practicing his guitar for his lesson every week but unless I go and play along with him I'm wasting my breath trying to get him to do it.

He has got into doing some Lego recently. That was another thing I'd need to sit and do with him and he'd lose interest, but this week he's been pretty happy building some stuff he's done nowt with since Christmas.

My eldest is sits in her room watching Youtube or playing Roblox, but recently has got really into anime so shes mad on that the minute, also collect crockery in her room.

Eldest lad sits in Xbox parties til bed time and doesnt nothing else, also collects crockery.

Youngest flitters between xbox/youtube on the front room telly, whilst he has youtube on his tablet.

Luckily they all love a good outdoorsy day out otherwise they never seen light of day.

None of them like sport, although my youngest was gifted a man City kit off his mate at school and hes asked me to take him a couple of times to watch footy so theres hope yet. Annoyingly the eldest is really good at football but hates playing/watching/talking about it.

Oldest lad 18 plays on PC/PS5, goes for food with his mates, plays basketball, gym, camping trips. Studies A Levels, Loves pornography. He is no bother and I’m so proud of him.

Youngest is 5, likes to collect treasure which is normally elastic bands, dried up dog poo which he thinks is rocks.

Loves reading, drawing, playing out in the mud, going to the beach, Lego, Duplo and his teddies. He can be hard work but it’s such a lovely age and I try to enjoy every minute.
Think they all do at that age ;)

My youngest, 30, after work plays in online tournaments.

My middle son, 33, annoys everyone.

My oldest, 35, goes to the bar to unwind for a couple and waits for us all to come back from school.

Get them a dog. Not a fanny licker but a proper one that they can take for a walk over the quarries. Should never be bored when you have a dog.
Good idea but we have one already Gilly. Problem the other night was the dog had already been walked, they'd both done their usual after school stuff (homework, bit of telly, had tea, then phone/tablets). It was then the boredom kicked in (and this was only about half 6 ffs 🙄). Had the same last night from the teenager. "Every day is like groundhog day Mam" 😂 If it was me, at that point, I'd read a book or something.
