Some people might find a few of my choices strange but some of the best moments of my childhood were spent on my N64 playing games like Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time.

Ocarina of Time will always be my number one. The shear sense of wonder I felt as an 8 year old when I first loaded that game will never be beaten. It’s an absolute masterpiece.
 
Not necessarily the best, more the ones I've thoroughly enjoyed and played the shit out of.

10. Red Dead 2, although I ended up hating it in the end trying to 100% it.

Seemingly most my seems to be when I got back into gaming with PS4 and story titles really started to take off. Virtua Tennis is basically all I played on on Dreamcast (it had no games) as a kid. Dungeon Keeper I still have a blast at now and again after gog made it available a while back after my copy I lent out and never got back in the early 00s.

The list could change on any given day, maybe Death Stranding, Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, Sleeping Dogs, the Metro series, Arkham Series...........and on and on.

Then the amount of stuff that's supposed to be good that I've never played, Skyrim, Fallout 3 etc.

Waiting around for hours for a parakeet to turn up only to miss it or for an opossum to play dead. So sooo tedious.

I did the 100% but my aim was for the Platinum, but that killed it off for me.

Got bored of GTA V.. didn't like hopping from one character to another. Think I only ever got about half way through then the PS3 packed in. Never went back

I'm still half way through RDR2... just got bored.

Witcher 3 - bout half way through. Not been on in months

Battlefront II - just didn't have the same charm

Skyrim... couldn't get away with it, and the PS3 wrapped in.


Honourable mentions to...

Medal of Honor: Frontline - great campaign, music gameplay etc. Took ya into a few class WWII films. Hellish.

Call of Duty: World At War - this was immense. Spent hours online before the hackers completely ruined it.


Modern Warfare however is shite. Some nice maps in the campaign - Chernobyl obvs, but on the whole, shite. Especially online.

It's got a class music and art style. I only ever got to the third Palace (Dungeon) at about 50 hours before I moved onto something else. I would like to finish it but it would be daunting to start again and jumping back into a save from so long a go I'd not have a clue. I only had the base game so maybe Royal would be a shout withthe new content.

My favourite is OG FF7, i agree ff9 is easily the best though.
