Ok I started a new fitness regime and diet to try and gain some weight and improve my strength and stamina, but its gone horribly wrong!
I increased my calorific intake by about 1500 to 3500 a day, and improved what I was eating, more fruit and veg, nuts etc and less coke, chips and chocolate.
I started my fitness, by just doing a light work out in the mornings. 25 sit ups, 25 press ups, and 25 squats.
Now I wasn't expecting anything dramatic to happen in the weight gain department, but I managed to lose half a stone in 2 weeks!
Since then I've had an injury so backed off the exercise, but I need to start up again.
I ideally need to gain weight (upper body and leg strength) and increase stamina (all football related).
So what do I need to do to make sure I'm not just increasing my metabolism when trying to eat more?
Thanks for your help
