Many of you agreed with me, which is nice.

However, I think after last night's "performance", my optimism is all but shot to shit.
If you look at the league table, we're just outside the play offs and totally capable of getting into them, but I can't see this team making the automatic spaces unless there's major change.

I was warned by a Bolton fan that PP was shite. That did concern me, but I thought "No, he's managed to get worse teams promoted".

How the actual fuck did he manage that? The answer is thus.
He didn't.
Not by himself. He may have been the manager and the players he's had may have responded to him, but with our current crop he's out of his depth by fathoms.

I'd say PP out, but that's going to end up costing us (or the club) more probably after getting him, Parkin and this sports scientist bloke in. However, this cannot continue much longer.
I don't want to see them lose to Gillingham, but if it gets them out of the cup and therefore no additional chance of injuries (or money unfortunately) so be it.
They need to get promoted this season or they risk of total capitulation, fans leaving in droves and end up with totally demotivated players.

SD and his cronies are the architects of this catastrophic failure. As the people at the top, they need to take some f***ing responsibility for their appointments.

Play the kids and we could win. I have always believed they have more spunk than an orgy in a gay porn movie. They have more willpower (brother of Max). They just have a better desire to want to win and just try hard than many first team players.

That match should be a litmus test for the team, that fact alone and how they respond in that match will tell us so much about the ambition, motivation and work ethic of the team.
I can accept shit players, I can accept defeat, but I can't accept any player not working for 90 minutes for the team and the club.
 
I'm not going to blame Parkinson yet like. Was last on most people's lists but christ people continue to absolve the players on the pitch of any blame. I expect to see some progress on the pitch by Xmas and will judge him properly then. No one can tell me the cup results we have had are down to the manager, its the application of the twats on the pitch.

In 8 games weve gone from being a bit dull and in need of a few new ideas to freshen it up to being completely destroyed.

I agree tbh but I am hoping he can earn his coin and get them playing a way that gets results. If not then the emphasis on him to ensure we recruit some players that can play the way he wants to in Jan.

What (amongst so many other things) is so depressing is that the piss taking clearly hasn’t stopped. If stripping things back was meant to turn us into a lean, mean fighting machine all it actually appears to have done is to turn us in to a basket case of a club.
