Last week I posted this.
Many of you agreed with me, which is nice.
However, I think after last night's "performance", my optimism is all but shot to shit.
If you look at the league table, we're just outside the play offs and totally capable of getting into them, but I can't see this team making the automatic spaces unless there's major change.
I was warned by a Bolton fan that PP was shite. That did concern me, but I thought "No, he's managed to get worse teams promoted".
How.
How the actual fuck did he manage that? The answer is thus.
He didn't.
Not by himself. He may have been the manager and the players he's had may have responded to him, but with our current crop he's out of his depth by fathoms.
I'd say PP out, but that's going to end up costing us (or the club) more probably after getting him, Parkin and this sports scientist bloke in. However, this cannot continue much longer.
I don't want to see them lose to Gillingham, but if it gets them out of the cup and therefore no additional chance of injuries (or money unfortunately) so be it.
They need to get promoted this season or they risk of total capitulation, fans leaving in droves and end up with totally demotivated players.
SD and his cronies are the architects of this catastrophic failure. As the people at the top, they need to take some f***ing responsibility for their appointments.
