We've just lost a record

Def Fulham, the original game was abandoned at half time 0-0, snow and ice iirc. We won the rearranged game which was midweek but still freezing, penultimate game I think. No idea who scored, utter misery for a year.
The Fulham game in 2005/6 was abandoned well before half time, around 20 mins or so with Fulham leading 1-0. It ended up being replayed on the Thursday night in the last week of the season as we’d played Arsenal on telly on the Monday and had Villa away on the Sunday as the last game of the season. I was straight out of Villa park on the final whistle and back to new street for a train to Manchester to see Springsteen on the Seeger sessions tour before heading home on Monday.

I could have sworn it was Hull mate. Your memory is evidently better than mine.
It was freezing cold mind, I remember that.
We did beat hull 1-0 in January that season. I remember it cos it was one of the few games I went to that year. We had asoro and maja up front and a tidy looking Ethan robson in CM. I came away hopeful that the kids might dig us out of our grim predicament but then we went 10 without a win straight after. ☹️

That must have been her second game then mate with Fulham the first. Two wins in her first two games in that debacle of a season. I’m not surprised she wanted to keep going.

We were 1-0 down when it was abandoned. I couldn't make the replayed game. I never saw us win at home that season.
Heh heh same here! Mind I was glad the first game was abandoned, got caught in the snow on the way over and was soaked to the skin. Think we just made it to the pub to watch the Grand National, although could be getting two completely separate occasions muddled up 😄
