No not a chance. Most of what they're replacing the old stuff seems to be a slight improvement.Sounds rank, probably a good move then getting shot. The younger crowd wouldn’t touch it anyway id imagine.
Their older customer still won't like it. My granda is a diehard fosters drinker and is in Jamos atleast 3 times a week.No not a chance. Most of what they're replacing the old stuff seems to be a slight improvement.
Is like deciding which foot to be shot in really.I think it is actually worse
I was forced into the Spoons at St Pancras on Saturday. Apart from the place being full of Mags, there real ale selection was fantastic. I got a cracking pint of Southwark Brewing Company’s Routemaster Red. I was able to sup it outside away from the inane babble of the subbies and then get the train to Cambridge.
Its horrible though - not sure what they do to give it that rank aftertaste?Gutted they're stopping selling Strongbow mind![]()

Moving to Weston's fizzy cider (Stowford Press) is a huge improvement.
Never knew there was a Wetherspoons in St Pancras and I've used it tons of times. Every day is a school day.Yes, the Spoons in St Pancras has become my regular fist/last pint in London despite there being a number of decent pubs in in the area. Always seems to be busy from 9am until closing time.
The one at Liverpool St is good too. In fact, most Staton Spoons are pretty good as they have a lot of passing trade and aren't full of all day drinkers supping John Smiths. The exception to this rule is Victoria were one in the station is a dive and the one opposite isn't much better.

It’s the most expensive Wetherspoons I’ve ever been in I believe!Right at the back near the Pancras Road exit and the SouthEastern platforms. If you use Thameslink then you wouldn't walk past it.
