Wetherspoons selling off real ales at 99p/pint ahead of lockdown

This is only going off the real people I know versus accounts on here but the people who gan on about the morals around supporting local pubs etc tend to be office workers types who hardly gan out anyway. The working class man who is out regularly is now reaping the benefits of spoons pricing policy and probably loves it.
The working class love spoons, thats why they are always rammed. When working away its the first place lads look for too for a cheap meal and a beer on a night. The footfall speaks for itself. Just because a few on here dont want to pop in, isn't going to change spoons future one bit. Its one of the first places the younguns go on a night out too for a cheap fuel up. The futures bright for spoons, thats for sure.
I can't thinking that remainers will hate me.
Water off a ducks back marra.

Does spoons not buy food, or employ gardeners to attend the plants or local builders to sort out problems. I think you will find they put loads into local economies

As a percentage, more of your £5 spent in a local business will find its way into the local economy, than of the £5 spent in a multi million pound cooperation/chain

So you don't know. The builders from the North East who done our local roof terrace were happy with their lot.
