My grandad knew a Big Bertha down Seaham Harbour. Tbf it was during the blackout, so who knows.

I remember there was a WW2 pillbox fell into the sea from Seaham cliffs when I was a kid.
Also a machine gun post in the farmers field near the top of Byron's Walk.
