I’m a bit surprised the club haven’t done more to make a few quid from merchandise tbh. I know it’s not the FA cup, but surely they could be pushing a range of home products (pint glasses etc) for the “stay at home” final? Perhaps team up with local companies etc to offer a range of club branded tat?

Unless of course the previous ownership just give up completely with club merchandise and we have fuck all in the club shop

It’s because the badge is too messy complex and looks amateur as fuck when stitched on.

Stickers can be uniform and neat. Hence why Pompey have sown badges and we have stickers.

Never said it did marra.

Just explaining why clubs with the same manufacturer and a simpler badge have sown badges, whilst we have stickers.

Quite ironic that people who love the badge complain about stickers when one is a direct cause of the other.

The training gear normally doesn’t get reduced much unless they are moving brands - although you will see a bit of a sale. The kits though will be down to a tenner a top in the next few weeks

Would have bought it with an embroidered badge. We had those for well over a decade until adidas cuts costs with the stitch on printed ones and now they’ve been downgraded further to a sticker.
