What part of
"We're going to put in some new numbers as well so it's not all just nostalgia," says Foxton, from his home in Surrey, England. "We're halfway through recording a new album, which Paul [Weller] is gonna be playing on. Obviously we'll play the hits but the new ones have been going down really well over here in the UK."
Can you not see.

Even if he does Buckler left From the Jam last year so it wont be The Jam trio all playing together anyway

As far as I am aware Buckler and Weller have never spoke since about 1983 after Buckler went down the the studio to listen to some Style council stuff and just burst out laughing saying 'What the fuck is that'

That slag Weller would do anything for a buck these days. Hair straightners don't come cheap.

Did they fuck. Weller got better with age. Weller solo>The Style Council>The Jam.

FACT.

The Style Council/Weller never came close to anything of the calibre of Setting Sons/All Mod Cons, which are both masterpieces, each to their own,but The Jam for me by a mile.

For me Weller is the greatest songwriter this country has ever produced, so many songs from 'The Jam' era that lyrically are so relevant today as they were 30 or so years ago

Love the fella me and god knows how many hours enjoyment I have had over the years listening to Jam, Style council and his solo stuff

Cafe Bleu, Our Favourite Shop and Confessions of a Group are some of the greatest albums ever released.

Wellers solo stuff for me is equally as good if not better than his Jam output. Some people expcted a Weller in his 30s and 40s to be writing and performing as if he was still 21.

A true Britsh songwriting genius in my eyes right up with the best.

No chance, can't really say who I would choose but listen to Sympathy for the devil, Weller has not written anything near, don't get me wrong Weller has been a class act but your statement is flawed and bias IMO.

Wild Wood best album for me, class from start to finish
