happy with his input tonight, should have had a hatrick and 3 points for us. I'm always dissapointed when we lose a lead.

He is Manc lad; given the lack of strikers at the club, he will head back home at the end of this season.

However, between the Evans loans and this one, I think Sunderland has proved themselves to be arguably the best team to loan out young players.

Sure, at some point, you might become too good to not need loanees any more but until then it is a good arrangement for both teams.

That Hernadez lad looks like he needs games...we'll have him until the end of the season

I've heard Rooney is struggling at the moment. Any chance?

Hernandez is second choice at the club, he is and will get enough minutes.

You can have Berba though, 10m and he is all yours ;)

Ran his socks off the whole of the match. Chased down just about every ball, even if it was a lost cause. Got clattered a few times, but got straight back up!! Not a fantastic performance from him, but still, showing signs why SAF rates him so highly. Just hope the lad gets a goal soon, massive boost in his confidence

Give your head a skake, man!

Our best player once again. Always gives an option, great link up play, tireless pressing and two goals to boot. A fantastic performance.

Gyan and Welbeck have to be first choice atm if all three are fit.

Edit: Ah shite! Didn't realise this was a mbumped thread!

fuckwit :lol::lol:

I'm not gonna lie, I think the lad actually owes me a pint.

Thing is though, at the end there, he fucked up his hat-trick chance. Obviously heard about the fact I'd give him a little praise and let his standards drop.

I was right all along?or i'm a thick bastard?

if he carry's on playing like this whats the chances of fergie dragging him back down the A1 and M62 ?

Big selection headache for next week. Dropping or even shunting Wellbeck out onto the wing, would be a slap in the face for him after two superb performances on the bounce. So assuming Gyan is fit, who do we leave out?

Very high I would have thought. But can we convince the player that he will get enough playing time here, rather then being 4th choice at OT?

Gordon, and go all out attack ;)

seriously, give all three a run up front? and make sure that Cattermole, Henderson and a.n. other next to them (Riveros? Zenden) know to anchor in midfield a bit and give support to their full-backs?

Just a suggestion, but I agree it's a tough decision

I retract all my criticism of him, Really has come into his own last two or three games.

My opinion of him couldn't have been much worse after the mag game, but since he's been moved up front he's been a different player.

The lad is not a winger but is a thoroughly decent young striker.

Strange as it seems I reckon Bruce would not be to dissapointed if one of the three was injured thus leaving no headache.

But if it came to it, Bent and Gyan start for me upfront. Welbeck on the wing

The talk at the time we signed him was that we trying to sign him permanently at the beginning of the season but Bruce thought the amount he was valued at was too high, was at least 8mil iirc, so loaned him instead.

Could well become permanent yet.
