Credit where its due. He's turned us into a bloody good PL team. I hate saying that in case it goes wrong but I think the whole country is taking notice right now.

I was so tempted to come on here after the SJP debacle and stick the boot in. But I resisted it and decided to see how they all reacted to it.

They knew they owed us big time and they needed a result like Sunday to get the fans on board.

They did just that. The two extremes we have felt two weeks apart are incredible.

Humiliation to one of the proudest days ever. Amazing.

It takes a certain amount of courage to play Campbell, Meyler, Cattermole, Mignolet, Bramble, Bardsley, Richardson, etc when all around are telling you you're wrong.

I like courage.

Same here, it's a nice feeling, the only similar thing I've got to compare it to was during the Quinn/Phillips era when people suddenly started to take us seriously, hopefully this one's got a bit more time on the clock than that did like.

All good players.

I wouldn't have signed Bramble
I wouldn't have played the keeper and brought in experience
I would like us to play a natural left footer at LB and play Bardsley at RB as cover

And what,you were wrong,admit it.

I miss the Keano song, but I have to admit I've only thought about Keano about once in the last year, probably when hey jude came on the rdaio. Top, top job by Bruce.

You are a wagner fan arent you?

Bramble is a good player, fortunate with the keeper (but Bruce signed him) and Bardsley isn't a natural at left back and despite playing well we would be ea better side with a LB playing at LB allowing us to stretch the play and move the ball a bit quicker.

Best squad of players since the Fifties. Happy days indeed.
Also stability and personalities of Quinn and Bruce give us a great chance of being top ten for a good while.
SNQ is delivering his promise of creating a club / team that will be without fear of relegation. He, Short, Drumaville, Keane and Bruce all deserve great credit in getting us to this position. I salute them all.

The keeper, how many clean sheets?Against who?A huge prospect or what:-D

That's why Bruce is our manager and you are not!

I did predict that after a couple of games (maybe slightly more but on here somewhere) that Henderson would make it in the premiership and after one game that SKP would be the player to watch! I have a fair idea about the game and believe Bruce took a risk on the keeper and that the side would look better with a natural LB (I am sure Bruce will agree).

The only one I got wrong was Bramble but tbf to Bruce knew him better.

I think you have missed the point of my post I am not arguing or saying I am right but merely pointing out that I, along with many other had slightly different views to Bruce.

The keeper cost us points against Birmingham but improved a lot after that, lost his way a little but did really well.

To be honest I thought Bramble would be a good signing. The lads a lot older now and I'd noticed perhaps gaffs at the back had been misrepresented the last few years, they all do it when enough pressure is on them - Vidic, Carragher, Terry etc.

Definetly correct about Mignolet being a gamble like, the only thing that swung it for me at the time was the £1m+ price tag, must have something about him as I can't have imagined any so called 'lower league' side taking that gamble.

In future when things dont go to plan, which will happen. Can we all remember we are the youngest squad in the premier,we are heading in the right direction and lets stick 100% behind the lads,as this could be our most successful spell in my lifetime.[35 years old]Roll on Monday im so excited!

Sum it up with three points:

He's moved on most of the dross fairly instantaneously.
He's been great at giving youth opportunities to flourish and improve.
He's signed Bent and Gyan from Harrods.

Yes. Let's all not get on everyone's backs when we next lose. We will lose a few more games this season you know.
