Welbeck

At 19 years old and £7 million we could buy him, play him alternately with Gyan & Bent and make a profit on him after 2 years.

If Waghorn was worth £3 million you'd have to say Welbeck has to be worth considerably more ....... Waghorn's decent up front but Welbeck managed to fit a couple of goals in between tracking back, defending corners and linking up play on Monday.

Not bad for a kid who was labelled useless recently.

Is this the same Wellbeck that through his own selfishness robbed benty of a tap in to go 1-0 up at SJP?

We are fickle arent we.

If fergie let Rossi go for £7 mill then i'm sure wellbz wont be any more than that. I hear he has too much ego for Fergie's liking btw.

No it's the same 19 year old striker, who has been played out of position until late, who has been learning his trade and giving 100% in each match for the team.

If YOU want to talk about selfishness, ASK YOURSELF whether it is "benty" or Welbeck who has been running themselves into the ground game in game out? PS. There has been plenty of occasions when "benty" could have put Welbeck through but hasn't, which hasn't been picked up by the likes of yourself 'cos "benty" can do no wrong! Iain't no statistician either but I can bet you anything Welbeck has created more openings for team mates than "benty".

Ego??? If you watch the kids interviews, and read and hear what anybody who has worked with him has said, it is clear that he isn't anything other than a pleasant young man! The same goes for Darren Bent! He comes across as a very pleasant guy BUT don't let ur "benty" coloured spectacles detract u from the truth that is, Welbeck is a super talent and by the end of the season 7million wouldn't buy u his under crackers
