Honestly cant believe some people are suggesting dropping him.

I realise you should play your strongest team and that we have been guilty in the past of not changing things after a win when we should have. But last week was not a normal game where we had flulked a win in unconvincing style against poor opposition. It was probably our best performance in 5 years to comprehensively beat the champions away. And more then that for welbeck he was man of the match

You really cant drop someone in those circumstances. If it was a player we had had for 10 years and it was evident it was a complete once in a lifetime performance then just maybe you could. But welbeck isnt that he is a hugely rated younster and last week.may just be the first step in him realising that potential. To drop him now would be madness. Deserves at least the first 45 for me tonight
