Only thing I can recall from Filey is a cafe with a really really old vine growing through it.

Was down there last week on route to France. Thought it might be canny...an absolute shit tip with a town centre worse than Peterlee’s.

Stayed a couple of months ago just south of Bridlington, nice actually with the beach and that. Anyway, walked up to the town centre for a couple of hours and this phrase immediately comes to mind. Had some waltzers there and pained on the sides in various luminous paints were "Disco Music" "Rock Music" etc etc... and "Black Music"

Made us chuckle, anyway.

Had spent a weekend up at Warkworth and Alnmouth earlier this year, stopped at Amble to get some chips on the way home and some kind of Sunday market was on at the quayside. It was grim as hell: like a part of 1970s Eastern Europe that time forgot. Some very odd people around.

We went last year while we were staying near Denbigh, then stopped off in February on the way to Anglesey. We ate at the Britannia hotel which looked a bit ran down but the food was spot on.

Burnham-on-Sea is one of the strangest seaside places I’ve been too... I had the misfortune of spending a few days there about 5 years ago...

Margate is like a scene from Walking Dead.

We were there last week and thought it was canny. Weather was amazing and we happened on a massive soul festival so the place was heaving. Quite enjoyed Dreamland, and the had the best ice cream in a shop in the Old Town. I’d go again.

Ramsgate on the other hand...
